MDIT Services offers cybersecurity internships in India for students and fresh graduates seeking hands-on experience in penetration testing, VAPT, SOC operations, and ethical hacking. Our structured 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month programmes are designed by certified security professionals and include real-world project work, a completion certificate, and mentorship from practising cybersecurity experts.
Why Choose a Cyber Security Internship at MDIT Services?
The cybersecurity skills gap in India is real. According to NASSCOM, India needs over 1 million cybersecurity professionals by 2025, yet universities produce fewer than 30,000 trained graduates annually. A cyber security internship gives you practical, employer-ready skills that a degree alone cannot provide.
At MDIT Services, our internship programme is built around real client work, not simulations. Interns work alongside our certified security team on vulnerability assessments, penetration testing engagements, and SOC monitoring tasks. You leave with a portfolio of real findings, not just a certificate.
What Makes Our Internship Different?
- Real-world projects — Work on actual VAPT engagements under supervision, not sandboxed labs
- Certified mentors — All mentors hold CEH, OSCP, or CISM certifications with 5+ years of field experience
- Industry-recognized certificate — Completion certificate signed by lead security consultant; accepted by top IT employers
- Flexible tracks — Offensive security (red team), defensive security (blue team/SOC), or compliance track
- Letter of recommendation — Eligible candidates receive a detailed LOR for job applications and higher studies
- Remote-friendly — All tracks available fully remote; no relocation required

Frequently Asked Questions — Cyber Security Internship India
Is this internship fully remote?
Yes. All three tracks at MDIT Services are available fully remote. We use a combination of daily task assignments, weekly group sessions, and 1:1 mentor calls. You need a laptop with at least 8GB RAM (for running virtual machines), a stable internet connection, and 4-6 hours per day of availability.
What is the duration of the cyber security internship?
We offer three programme durations: 1 month (introductory track, no certificate — foundation only), 3 months (standard track — most popular), and 6 months (advanced track with live project and placement referral). The 3-month track is recommended for most students.
Will I get a certificate for the internship?
Yes. All candidates who complete the 3-month or 6-month programme and pass the final assessment receive a completion certificate from MDIT Services. The certificate specifies the skills validated (e.g., “Web Application Penetration Testing — OWASP Top 10”) and is signed by our lead security consultant. It can be shared on LinkedIn and added to your CV.
Is prior coding knowledge required?
Not for the SOC / Defensive track. For the Offensive Security track, basic familiarity with Python or Bash scripting is helpful but not mandatory at the start. We include scripting fundamentals in the foundation module. You will write simple scripts as part of the programme, and your mentor will support you through that.
